Matrys is a new medical device based on low molecular weight collagen peptides (LWPs) at high concentration, available in ready-to-use injectable solution. Matrys LWPs arise from the fragmentation of chains of collagen then subjected to purification and filtration. The formulation provides a high concentration of peptides (up to 5 mg/ml) and includes Vitamin C, an antioxidant molecule capable of promote the synthesis of new collagen, and Magnesium, which favors the adhesion of stem cells to the damaged site.
