MYcandle Packaging (3 Packs Project)
Develop design varieties for MYcandle’s 3 packs with the accompanying folded sheet.
The Brief
To develop an overall brand identity (brand name and logo) with 3 varieties of product and accompanying folded sheet beneath that identity. There is a limitation of using only 2 spot colours for each boxes and the folded sheet.
The Concept
The brand is a candle brand that focus on self care and ‘me time’ hence the name ‘MYcandle’.
The packs concepts are 3 different candle products that are good for sleeping, relaxing and energising respectively, represented by a girl’s activity that reflects the effects of the candles.
The folded sheet is an information item that show a brief about the brand, safety tips and ‘me time’ information and activities.
The Solution
The focus on this project, besides the creative aspects of identity, surface and communication, is to learn and prepare a ready pre-press file and explores and understand presentation and communication of production requirements when working in the industry.
