This project was conceived during the first year of Covid. The components of this object are reclaimed steel parts, a double-concave lens, and a cast bronze. The object is meant to resemble an armillary sphere - a representation of planetary space. This space is cramped, challenging to see into and the lens makes everything appear impossibly small.
