Conceptual Mockup and Prototype

Created to help communicate certain concepts and ideas to a team I was working with.

Starting with an idea of a high-level project management solution focusing on current workload distribution (whether it be by goal, location, project, team etc), goal tracks (milestone sequences — concurrent or in phases), and all the processes involved (tasks, intra-milestone relationships, dependencies, notifications..), this quickly became an exercise in problem solving — both in terms of logic and architecture as well as design and affordance — towards creating a cohesive product experience.

One of the challenges was being able to simulate a modular environment where multiple panels and workspaces could function independently yet maintain interaction, sizing, and contextual feedback depending on selection or filtering — throughout various modes of use and views.

This ultimately turned into an entirely original project, led by cycles of discovery and solutions.

The result is a prototype with 50+ points of interaction connected across numerous situations, all contained within one UXPin page.

— Examples —

Adaptive panels (and independent panel scrolling)

Multiple points of selection and visual feedback

Maximizing views retains selection
as well as adaptive sizing and intra-panel contextual updating

Region summaries contextual to overview filter
(example: workload distribution in project boards vs locations)

Thanks!
