NABBA KOREA '2021 Grand Prix Final'
Concept : Bloom, 만개하다
On September 18, 'Grand Prix Final' was held, which was the biggest contest of Nabba Korea. For the event, the client needed to develop their brand identity by working with 3D Artists. This 3D artwork was for their symbolic trophy called 'The Boulder Man'. The design concept is based on a catchword: ‘Bloom’, a metaphorical expression for Nabba Korea's remarkable business results. For this task, Heath Kim and Jeong-Hwan Shin concentrated on maximizing the brand characteristics of what they already had. Renaissance art elements like architectural columns, statues and floral ornaments were exploited in order to achieve an antique mood. And, they utilized volumetric lighting techniques and strong contrast effects for dramatic atmosphere. Via this project, the artists wanted to remind fitness fans of the excitement that came with Nabba Korea’s amazing brand identity. The pipeline is based on ‘Zbrush, Keyshot and Cinema 4D’ for the best quality.
나바 코리아의 상징적인 트로피 ‘The Boulder Man’을 주제로 ‘2021 Grand Prix Final’을 위한 3D 모션그래픽을 제작했습니다. 디자인 컨셉은 ‘만개하다 (부흥하다)’입니다. 기존 나바의 브랜드 특성을 적극 반영, 강조하는 방향으로 작업을 집중했습니다. 르네상스 예술의 요소, 볼륨메트릭 라이팅 그리고 과감한 톤 대비를 활용해 웅장하며 극적인 분위기를 연출하고자 했습니다.
