Like all human beings, I am pretty lost on this lonely planet in the middle of the vast universe. There's no absolute certainty of our purpose, where we are going, and what will eventually happen to us.
Since I was born, I have played with toys for boys, screaming for milk, mummy, and money, happily dreaming, smiling, laughing, and worrying about life's trivialities. I did not pay much attention to the emotional realm and preferred avoiding it by making a nuisance of myself; this was the key to being the centre of attention and feeling that I mattered.
We often forget that we have all been children and that the mechanisms that we grew up with are still hiding there, deep down. Now, we are children of the earth that behave like spoiled adults—disconnected bodies and souls. It's challenging to keep a bearing when most people around us feel lost.
The future is to make promises to ourselves. My commitment is to carry on making and creating even if it could feel infantile and infinitely insignificant. In doing so, I am making a future for myself and us.

Comme tous les êtres humains, je me sens souvent perdu sur cette planète solitaire au milieu de l'immensité de l'univers. Il n'y a aucune certitude absolue quant à notre dessein, où nous allons et ce qui finira par nous arriver. Depuis ma naissance, j'ai joué avec des jouets pour garçons, j'ai crié pour du lait, maman et de l'argent, rêvé joyeusement, souri, ri et me suis inquiété des banalités de la vie. Je n'ai pas prêté beaucoup d'attention au royaume émotionnel et j'ai préféré l'éviter en me rendant insupportable; c'était la clé pour être au centre de l'attention et sentir que j'importais. Nous oublions souvent que nous avons tous été des enfants et que les mécanismes avec lesquels nous avons grandi sont toujours enfouis là, au fond. Maintenant, nous sommes les enfants de la terre qui se comportent comme des adultes gâtés - des corps et des âmes déconnectés. Il est difficile de garder le cap quand la plupart des gens autour de nous se sentent perdus. L'avenir consiste à se faire des promesses à nous-mêmes. Mon engagement est de continuer à créer et à fabriquer, même si cela peut sembler infantile et infiniment insignifiant. En agissant ainsi, je me construis un avenir pour moi-même et pour nous tous.
