Portrait of a Pixel-Perfect Chinchilla

Chinchillas are some of the most pleasurable rodents on the eyes. They have an attractive furriness and friendly humility to them.

As an asset, this chinchilla model was made as part of another project currently in the works (I also made sure I didn't forget whiskers this time!). After working in this "post-lowpoly", origami style you begin to see areas where you can break up the form more than before. Every corner, layer, or feature, will have its own formal language. I felt this was one of my best attempts.

From the front it looks like it has a coat, or cape, but the model wasn't designed to be seen from the front but from the sides. The "coat" is really just a layer of "fat."
Thank you!
