Creating an Augmented Reality Introduction 
This tutorial will cover:
How to create a character in ReadyPlayerMe and export the FBX
Import and animate the character in Mixamo
Create and program the character in Adobe Aero
Share the project online

Ready Player Me
Select Create My Avatar
Depending on the platform, you can choose to do a full body avatar or just the half-body.
The half-body works with several different social VR platforms, but for this one, we are going to create a Full-body avatar.
Select the body type you would like to use.
If you want to see if will match your image, you can upload a picture or take a picture of yourself and the program will try to match your features. Results may vary. 
You can select Continue without a photo.
If you do not upload an image or take a picture, you will be asked to pick a facial structure/look that matches what you want so that you can customize it.
When you enter the editor, you will be given a default avatar to customize.
The menu bar at the bottom will allow you to customize different features and accessories for your avatar, have fun!
Once you are done, you can inspect your avatar by left-clicking your mouse and dragging across the screen.
You can now preview and share you avatar with social media or download a new profile image.
Select Claim Your Avatar, you will have to log in using your email.
Select Sign In
Enter in your email
To finish logging in, enter the code you received in your email.
Select the Next button in the upper right-hand.
A menu will open up for you to download the headshot image and a link to download a .glb file of your avatar. We actually need the .fbx file, to get that, select the Discover Apps button on the left hand side of the Hub. 
Select View App in the VR Chat preview screen.

In VR Chat, pick which one of your avatars from ReadyPlayer.me you want to convert and add to VRChat
After 5-10 seconds, your avatar should be added to your VRChat. Go back to your Hub and select Manage Avatars from the left hand side menu.
You should now see the VRChat Avatar in your Manage Avatars area. Select the Three vertical dots and select Download avatar.fbx to your computer.
This will download the avatar's .fbx file to your computer and allow you to upload it to Mixamo!

Sign-in to Mixamo using your Creative Cloud subscription or sign-up with your email
In the upper right-hand corner, select Upload Character and upload the .fbx file you downloaded from Ready Player Me.
When your character is loaded, you will see the preview in a T-pose.
Select Animations from the upper left hand corner of the screen. Search what type of animation you would like to add to your character.
Once the animation is loaded, you can adjust and play with the settings to get the perfect look and feel for what you want your avatar to do.
If you have a Creative Cloud subscription, select Send to Aero to save the Character and the animation to your Creative Cloud account to access anywhere. If you want to save it locally to your computer, you can select download and it will save it to your computer. 
* If you are going to use the tablet/phone app to build your interaction, make sure you save the files to a cloud folder you can access on your device.
* Each animation needs to be saved separately. You can not save multiple animations at a time. This will be helpful when programing in Adobe Aero.
Adobe Aero
When you have all of the different animations you would like to use, open Adobe Aero on your phone or tablet. If you have Creative Cloud, open the Beta Desktop version of Adobe Aero.

*must have Creative Cloud for the desktop version, if you only have the mobile version, scroll down
Open the Aero Beta Desktop version and select Create New 
Name you project.
Go to File -> Import and import either your original .fbx avatar file or you can import one of the files you downloaded from Mixamo that are .glb files, both will work.
In the lower left-hand corner, select the icon of the running person to open the option to add triggers and actions to the scene. 
Select Trigger and choose either to start the interaction by touch or to start automatically. 
Select the Action button to choose your animation, for this one, select Play Animation.
Select the dropdown from Animation set in the Play Animation menu. If you imported the .fbx, there will not be any animations tied to your avatar. 
If you imported the .glb file, the main animation will be selectable. 
To add additional animations from Mixamo, select the folder icon and import them to this dropdown option. 
Create a new action for each animation you would like to add. Choose what animation or upload a new one for each Action. (See below)
Select the + Trigger button under the first string of programming and select Play Audio from the dropdown. 
*In a separate audio recording program, ie. Audacity or Audition, record your message and save it as a .wav file on your computer.  
In the Play Audio menu, select the file folder and then upload the audio you recorded on a separate audio recording app.
Select preview to see and hear your interaction.
If you need to edit the timing of an animation or add/delete, select Edit and it will bring you back to the editor.
Do not be afraid to use some of the preset assets or import others you may find or create. (I personally like the Origami forest pack, the animals have built in animations)
Once you are ready, select File then Export and save the project as a .real file. 
This file is still editable, but you will have to re-export to update it.
To get a shareable link or QR code for your website or LMS, In the upper right-hand corner, select the share button, then select Create a Link.
Save the QR code to your device and paste it into your website/LMS or save the link and share that to your site. 

Users will be able to scan the QR code and their device will prompt them to download the app to open it or the app will open to set the anchor point for the user to view the interaction.
