Señoritas con Mandil is a second instalment for Pattrica Lipatapanlop, an independent writer and photographer. The book follows her journey through vibrant Mexican culture, starting from Mexico City towards the Istmo de Tehuantepec.

The book is divided into four main sections – the newspaper, the journey, the market, and the letter, reflecting on each stage of the author’s expedition and self-discovery.

Patterns on plastic table mats, colours and embroidery on traditional clothes were used as main visual elements.
The Newspaper
This section is an introduction to Frida Kahlo and her influence on the author's decision to embark on a journey to Mexico. The layout and tone of this section represent in the form of an old newspaper as the author wanted to lay out her reasons on why she decided to go to this country.

The Journey
The story and photographs collected from the journey, mostly grouped according to colours to show the unique, vibrant culture of the Mexicans.

The Market
A brief guide to Mexican markets and objects.

The Letter
A conclusion to the story, where the author's actual letter to Frida was replicated and put at the end of the book.
The book also equipped with separate objects and printed matters to enhance the off-screen reading experience.

separate prints include: replica of bingo cards and hand–written letter, risograph–printed bookmark, and an actual table mat.
