Ekaterinburg Design Experiments

A project dedicated to Ekaterinburg city. The city is well-known for its architectural history. During early USSR period, there worked many constructivist architects. Their legacy still stands on the streets, often abandoned. Despite the fact, that the capital of Ural region considered as a modern high-rise city, i wanted to remind of it's beautiful concrete gems, builded long ago. So I reflect Ekaterinburg's present and past vibe in some visual experiments with motion/illustrations. You are welcome to see them:

Soviet architecture illustrations

Next three illustrations i made as a postcards with the city's architectural legacy. You are going to see a one-century old water tower, a NKVD Hotel and the only circus in the world with lattice dome.

Ekaterinburg's logo concept

Ekaterinburg city already has it's logo. And like i said, the logo looks great and modern, speaking for
city's contemporary image. But i changed it a little bit and revisioned as constructivism epoque logotype.

Thank you!
