Heart Tattoo Cushions

KNITTING PATTERN DESIGN BY AMANDA BERRY

You can create your own love seat with these squishy Heart Cushions filled with handmade affection. The pattern is to knit two sizes of heart, large and small. Each is inspired by a love heart tattoo, with angel wings and a “Love” scroll on the front.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the hearts are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES

A pair of 3mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5)

A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN

Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK and Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g skein in each colour

NOTIONS

A darning or tapestry needle for seaming

SIZES

One size only - the larger is 28cm tall and the smaller is 13cm tall.

TECHNIQUES

For confident beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish. The word “Love” is embroidered on each.
