Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service initially requested a video to promote the sale of smoke detectors from their website. This animation was conceived as a way of using push-power to inspire children to encourage their parents to buy the devices. When the organisation's stance on the direct sale of smoke alarms changed, the film was repurposed and picked up by HFRS' Schools Education Team and shown in schools across Hampshire where it proved to be a hit with kids. 

This project was a particular favourite of mine to work on and was inspired by the trends in kids' TV at the time. While I came up with the concept, wrote the script and provided the voiceover for both he narration and the hapless stoat, the character and his world was spectacularly brought to life by animator Ivan Ercegovic and the in-house creative team.
