Personal Branding

Personal Branding:
When creating my own visual branding I wanted to consider- what are the qualities I associate with myself? What kind of a designer am I?
My initial mood-board of inspiration- zen diagrams, glowing gradient textures and pastel colours.

I like to project positive energy, warmth, and enthusiasm. When designing, I often obsess over the finer details, and like to be playful with colour. With a background in embroidery design, I wanted some references to my past roles- and my love for all things sparkly!
Combining geometric vector shapes, which are reminiscent of stars, ideas, 'sparkle' effects and planetary rings.
I designed variations of my logo and typography for different branding formats and uses- such as for on social media and business cards.
For my colour palette, I used a harmonious mixture of tones that emitted warmth. Sunset shades of pink and orange radiate positivity, and pops of lilac, white and violet add definition.
Business Cards:
My business cards feature my main logo, with it's colourful gradient background. White and violet are used on the finer details of the design, such as the 'orb' and 'sparkle' shapes.
I replicated the same motif from the front of my business card on it's reverse, to frame the contact details.
Social Media:
To advertise my graphic design brand, I chose to display banners and logo's on my Behance portfolio, and created a new Instagram account to correspond with this.
The final two logos used on my social media accounts- a long narrow banner for my Behance profile, and a square image to act as my 'Profile picture' on Instagram.
My instagram account features examples of my branding as well as inspiration imagery, colour palette references and motivational quotes.
CV Design:
To co-ordinate with the rest of my branding, I overhauled my CV, to reflect my design skills and interest in graphics. I laid out the content over two pages to give more white space around the text.
The paler variation of my textured background and logo works well with the content of my CV. The colours are more restrained, and easier to read.
I chose to create a landscape CV which incorporated elements of my logo- the gradient background, sparkle motifs and rounded outlines.
