Personalized Illustrated Booklet for A Granddaughter's Birthday Present

This book tells a story about the daily life of the kid, Kara, and her 10 years old cat, Yuvi. They shared togetherness in many activities.
The goal of this book is to help Kara learn to read. That's why the story is being told in short sentences accompany the simple illustrations.
It consists of eight full-colour pages, and I made both cover and interior.

Sketches of character development and storyboard.

The process started with a script, research, collecting references, and combine it all into a mood board. After the mood board being approved, I worked on initial sketches and character development as key visuals. Then I made a storyboard to help me see how the whole book will look like.
The next step is making the neat line art and color mapping.
