Despite the fact that many well-known cafe brands or trending ones are non-stop establishing on Hanoi roads, street cafe is somehow still a frequent choice-to-make for many capital people. It's not only about the taste, but also about the vibe.
Kafa Café was one of the modern café which puts their key on the street coffee taste, as the original one of Hanoi. Being established in 2018, Kafa Café had strongly impressed the visitors, by not only their manifesto of street coffee, but also the delicious drinks.
Using the collage style as the concept, kraft paper as the main assets, we want to deliver a feeling of original Vietnamese street style of hanging out - which is usually simple, basic, implementing newspaper, sketch drawing,... Through graphic & the storyline of the video, the viewers may get a sense about how Hanoi people enjoying their daily cafe talk, which is a culture in Vietnam daily life.
With the idea: everything turns unite if well-collaged together, we apply it all the the daily storyline. Every small pieces in life happens for a reason, and Kafa Café appreciates to be a part of the customers' daily journey.
The aiming of video is to describing not only a coffee shop but also about the street café culture in Hanoi. It shows how Vietnamese Northside people live, how they go for a coffee chat everyday. We want to describe and emphasize that every aspect of their daily life all links together - a chat, friends, places.
On the other hand, in the video, we describe how the coffee at Kafa is made, produced, packaged & served in to dish everyday, as coffee taste is an extremely important part of brand's manifesto. All carefully crafted!
The process of coffee beans production & preparation is emphasized. We use cut & some collaging treatment, along with some add-on graphic to make the scene look relatable and impressive. Typography part was made with a soft distortion - just like how the type acts on newspaper environment.
