The ultimate festival.
Holi is a popular ancient Hindhu festival, also known as the "Festival of Love", the "Festival of Colours", and the "Festival of Spring"
The festival celebrates the eternal and divine love of Radha and Krishna. It also signifies the triumph of good over evil.
It is celebrated in a entushiastic way all across India during March´s full moon.
The epicenter of this celebration is located in Mathura old city and Vrindavan.
The beauty of this festivity is far beyond the colours that friends and strangers throw, the joy, the smiles and above all of that there are no rich or poor people, just people celebrating in a pure and joyfull way.
It was a very special day for me because i really wanted to experience this amazing day in the place that had more meaning, but it wasn`t a easy task... being completely covered by colours made almost impossible to see what i was shooting. The heat was making my cameras overheat from time to time.
But all of this is secondary when you experience something so intense as this amazing celebration...
Dhanyavaad.
