St. Louis Steel is a concept design for a Women's Soccer Team located in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. The soccer club would be a new expansion to the National Women's Soccer League in the United States.
In the first iterations of my design, I wanted to keep a simple crest design that would incorporate the abbreviation of St. Louis, Gateway Arch, and a soccer ball. In my third rendition of my crest design, I added the Fleur De Lis as a symbol of the city's early roots and connection to France. After the announcement of the city's new MLS soccer team, St. Louis City SC, I was inspired to create a brand new logo that could be used for the sister team in the NWSL.
