OVERTIME Magazine is a women's sports magazine that I designed for my publication class in Fall 2020. The magazine would feature articles around women's sports and how they are dominating the sports world.
For this Fall 2020 issue I wanted to focus on relevant events that have impacted the sports world. Such as the COVID-19 pandemic and other social issues like the Black Lives Matter movement.
Diagonal lines are used throughout my magazine layout as a way to show movement through the spreads. I felt as though it was important to show action and movement while also highlighting the images.
