I live in a 100-year old house, and often hear noises in my basement. For a while, a creature of an unknown size was creeping around my basement at night. I often imagined that it was just a rambunctious bunch of mice having a good time.
The above sketch was the preliminary sketch completed in Photoshop before adding the characters, and painting the scene. I wanted the scene to have a tilted perspective, but not too forceful, so that, it would not distract from the focal point.
