Final Images:
Inspired Photographer:
My final presentation photographer is Peter Lik so I decided to try to use his style in my second triptych. His main shots are of nature and just Earth's animals and landscapes. So I decided to do one with nature and try to make it represent "life/growth" in a way.
Understanding problem:
The way I saw this project was to create a story with just three shots next to each other. So I approached it as that and tried to make a story for each of them. Both of them were different so it made it so I needed to shoot in different ways. For the apple one I painted a background and put a lamp underneath to make the apples have some sort of spotlight. I shot it in my garage but one issue I had was there was light coming in from the windows so I had to cover them up to get my own light. Along with that my camera didn't know what to focus on so it made a lot of my shots super blurry and I only had a few good ones. For the outdoors one that on I didn't have any issues with, since it was natural light my camera knew how to adjust and focused on my subjects much better.
Subjects:
1. Flowers
2. Fruit
3. Eggs

11. Technology
12. Sculptures
13. Animals

Main Ideas:
1. Location can be anywhere, going for a dark background with a light shining on the subject. First frame is an apple, second is a rose, third I'm not sure yet.
2. Based off of my final artist, more of a nature type triptych. Shows the "growth of life" maybe.

Documenting creation:
This was one of the apple shots without the black and white filter, it looks cool with the background but I thought the black and white brought out the textures more and made it look better.
Research and investigation/inspiration:
Reflection strengths and weaknesses:
The only strength I'd say I had in this project was the fact that my outdoor shots turned out pretty good. I had a lot of issues with the focus on my camera and coming up with an idea so those would be my weaknesses.
