Shooting the Moon

Shooting the Moon
Finally got a chance to shoot the moon the way I always wanted to. Having a longer lens lets me get closer. The first two shots were taken later in the evening with the Nikon D850 DSLR. Since the D850 is a 48MP camera, when I cropped into I was able to maintain a larger overall image for prints. The second set with shot right at sunset (golden hour) with the Nikon Z6 II (24MP) Mirrorless. All of the images were captured with the Tamron 150-600mm lens (at 600mm of course). f/11, ISO 100, 125th sec.
I was so impressed by the sharpness of this lens that I'm seeing craters in the lower right corner that I never saw in any of my previous attempts.
