Disney Christmas Campaign 2020 -
(Disney Classics animation, Disney Classics backgrounds, Disney Toys animation, & National Geographic backgrounds)
My Role
I worked with Cookie Studio to produce concepts, artwork, and animation across various assets produced for the campaign. The campaign itself ranged across several of Disney's franchises including Star Wars, National Geographic, Marvel, Pixar, and classic Disney Animation. All assets however were produced around the same theme; a paper cut-out world held within a parol (a Filipino Christmas lantern).
Disney Classics 15s Promo
The 15s Disney Classics promo was design to promote classic titles from Disney Animation's back catalogue.
Standalone Backgrounds
In conjunction with the promo we also created various, standalone background animations themed around the classic titles.
30s Promo
The 30's promo was the main animation of the campaign, it ranged across Disney, Marvel, & Star Wars titles and needed to include specific product shots.
Parol Concepts
Concepts for the 3D parols that start each animation.
National Geographic Standalone Backgrounds
Additionally we created Standalone backgrounds for National Geographic around the themes of Jungle, Ocean, Space, and Mountains. These were again in the paper cut-out style but needed to feel more mature and detailed.
