Paper Model of ‘Yamaha DragStar Classic 11’
Atamjeet’s Comment:
This Paper Model has won hearts of many & it has travelled the world with me. I love this model particularly for the fact that:
1. I am amazed to achieve the level of neatness & stability I aim for my models. It’s the brand ambassador for ATAMJEET.COM
2. This is a very detailed and a beautiful machine
I made the first DragStar when I was graduating in my hometown Amritsar (Punjab) in 2005. A couple of years later a software job landed me in Bangalore where I re-created this machine (this time I used Gloss Paper) and the pictures that you are seeing are of the second attempt (the first attempt needs a little bit of cleaning for it has been parked in a showcase since 2005).
The other day I saw the real Yamaha DragStar parked at a happening place in Bangalore, and I was fortunate enough to receive the consent of the owner for me to sit on the bike and pose for a nice picture. Such amazing encounters thrill me and refresh my memories of the moments I spent creating my models and the music I used to listen while enjoying my hobby. I was listening to ‘Hotel California’ by Eagles and the songs of a Bollywood movie ‘Zinda’ while creating the Yamaha DragStar!
I also did write poems, thoughts, fantasies, dreams on the inside parts of this model (I do this for all the models for these are my Best Friends I share my dreams with).
