OCEAN MARKET GRILL is a local family run fish market + grill. Inspired by infamous fishing trips with their dad, brother duo Jason and Jo set out to make their biggest catch. For 4yrs now, OMG has become the go-to for fresh seafood around town. Customers come for the quality catches, staff that has become family and a quick meal before they go.
The duo has chosen to take it from the seas to the streets. After establishing great customer base at their main location, they've decided to add a food truck to the mix. With this added endeavor to the business, we've set them up with a new brand identity to set them apart from the competition.
The design came from their bigger than life personalities, "the sky is the limit" mentality and love for the vast ocean. We wanted to play off the buzz and excitement that comes from their reputation and overall fun work environment with the well loved abbreviation OMG and creating an exclamation mark. We soon found out that when layering the letters together, we created a loose, imaginative fish figure and the logo/mark fell into place.
