Self Promo Postcard

This week, based on feedback from my Professor, I selected the best photo from Lesson 14 and created 4 new images, applying a different technique to each one. For the Color FX technique, I created a textured background, added a Bokeh effect then added a
colorful mesh to add interest to the photo. The mesh design can be found here.

The next photo is a Lighting Effects technique applied with an added image for interest. The abstract image can be found here. I converted the image to black and white then added some light flares. The abstract was added to add a bit of color to the photo.

The third technique is a Hollywood Effects technique. I played around with this and tried to add an interesting warp effect to my photo. I added a vector graphic layer on top of the image then used a radial gradient to reveal portions of the photo underneath. The vector graphic can be found here.

My last photo effect is a Designer's Choice. For this photo, my vision was a sketch effect. I applied Cory Barker's sketch technique to this image and overall I am pleased with the outcome. It actually turned out a little better than I expected.
After completing these 4 photos, I chose my favorite (the sketch effect) to create a Self Promotion postcard.
