Illustrated desk and mini calendar

We're getting close to the end of this year, the year full of unpredictable events, and full of catastrophe (haha). Last year I made this calendar for personal project and kinda blame myself for thinking it's a jinx that turned this year a very terrible year. It's a silly thought but it makes me scared to make another one for next year. So now I'm going to share this one.
This calendar consisted of 12 hand-drawn doodles on each page. All of them were made with Posca markers and gel pens.
It was my first time drawing with limited colours; without sketches nor plans. I thought it would be very challenging but turns out the process was so liberating. Through every strokes, I learnt to embrace the flaws and just enjoy the flow.
The desk calendar printed on 270 gsm textured paper with vertical orientation. It came with wooden stand, pouch, and sticker set as bonus. Some people chose to stick it to the wall rather than place it on the wooden stand. Either way, it looked good.
Because I wanted to make it more sustainable, I make the doodle section bigger than the date section. So when the month's over, people can divide the paper and keep the doodle part; then reuse it as mini art print or greeting cards.
I also made the mini calendar version, to be used for journaling purpose.
Because the doodles were made spontaniously, I don't have any photos to show the process.
Here's a glimpse of the original doodles. I used Posca 3M and 5M markers, Artline Softline gold pen, and Sakura Gelly Roll white pen.
