These next two weeks we are creating self-promo's for class. These designs represent life as a student designer for me.
#1
5 Items
My sketch book, colored and charcoal pencils, scissors, pipe cleaner and felt.
My sketch book is important because I like to sketch out my ideas before creating them, the pencils are needed to sketch, the scissors in case I want to create a collage and the pipe cleaner for some fun add on items. I also designed the note pad to start spelling my name and using the pipe cleaners to complete it.

9 items
Sketchbook, pencils, scissors, switch controllers, pipe cleaner, cell phone, flower, "Custard" the cat and felt.
The flower is a lily which is my favorite type of flower, the switch controllers because my son is going to college for game design and I would love to work alongside him, helping him with design, my cell phone because I use it to capture pictures whenever I'm out to use in design and "Custard" the cat, from Strawberry Shortcake, because it links me to my childhood. Again I use the sketch pad and pipe cleaners to spell out my name.

My sketchbook, pencils, cellphone, scissors, pipe cleaners, switch controllers, flower, "Custard" the cat, felt, dog toy, glue stick, drawing pad for pc and my son's hand.
The dog toy I use because I do draw a lot of inspiration from my dog, the glue stick is essential in creating collages, the drawing pad I use a lot when working on projects on the pc and finally my son's hand because I love to include him into a lot of my designs.
Each of these images are unedited at this point. These are just the starting materials to create a self-promo postcard. Some changes will be made as the project continues.
