Based on theĀ Marvel ComicsĀ superheroĀ Miles Morales, it is the second game in theĀ Marvel's Spider-ManĀ series, followingĀ Marvel's Spider-ManĀ (2018). The game was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June 2020 and was released for the PlayStation 4 and as aĀ launch titleĀ for the PlayStation 5 in November 2020.
