DLR Group was tasked with updating the brands of the bar, restaurant and rooftop venue at The Hotel Zamora. The hotel, nestled on the pristine shores of St. Pete Beach, is a luxurious and distinctive retreat that exudes Mediterranean-inspired charm. With breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, the hotel offers a perfect blend of sophistication and relaxation. The new brand reflects a stylish coastal elegance, with vibrant colors and tasteful decor creating an inviting atmosphere with a touch of coastal flair. Guests can indulge in the culinary delights offered at the on-site restaurant (Azura Coastal Kitchen), where fresh, locally sourced ingredients take center stage. The rooftop bar (Azura Sundown Rooftop) provides a stunning vantage point to enjoy sunsets over the Gulf, making it a popular spot for both visitors and locals. Hotel Zamora promises a refined beachfront experience, combining luxurious amenities with the laid-back allure of St. Pete Beach.
Scope Summary
The commencement of the project by the XGD Studio at DLR Group involved a comprehensive on-site evaluation of the property, coupled with a series of interviews with key stakeholders such as ownership, management, the client’s design team, the chef, and other staff at the hotel. Their initial objective was to establish a new positioning strategy, aiming to transform the updated restaurant, bar, and rooftop into not only a destination for guests but also a popular local hangout for residents in the nearby neighborhood. The culmination of their efforts resulted in the delivery of new names, fresh identity marks, a comprehensive brand guide outlining color schemes and typography choices, and a diverse array of options for applying the brand across in-house items and select merchandise, available for purchase within the hotel. DLR Group provided brand development services, including naming, throughout the entirety of the project.
