Folegandros Love
Book design

The book is a declaration of love to the island of Folegandros. The founders of CQStudio wanted to return the emotions received over time by the island, its nature, its people and its customs by creating a book. They asked the Athenian photographer Theo Vranas to translate their personal vision of the island into images. They asked me to make a story with them.
We decided to divide the book into three parts as a journey of knowledge that goes from the surface to the depth. The first part is the discovery of the island, its rugged nature and traditional architecture; the second part tells about the people they gradually met; the third part gratefully expresses the trust gained that opened the intimacy of their homes.
