Aim.

Designing a contemporary walker that users would be proud to own. It offers high levels of stability and support for people who value their independence and dignity but need a little assistance with their mobility.

Introduction.

Older people have long complained that products designed for them are clunky and unattractive. As the population of people 65 and overgrows, so does their spending power in the marketplace. Products such as walkers have been slow to evolve aesthetically over the past century, in addition, most of the existing walkers fail to meet the actual needs which cannot prevent them from falling due to leaning forward of their trunk and ensure they can independently maintain their physical functions with freedom and dignity.

Contemporary Look.

When I ask older people what they want from products, the answer is often simple: to not look like something a frail, invalid person would use. Therefore, POISEP has breakthroughs the look of the traditional walker, making it assist mobility and stylish at the same time that combats the stigma of using a walker and stereotypes about aging and disability, also it can keep users' dignity and increase willingness to use the device.

Posture Correction.

POISEP provides a solution to poor posture, instability, and pain from walkers. Considering that most of the target users would not have good hand strength for grabbing.
