The Department of Transport and Public Work is teaming up with Dekra to change the behaviour of private motor vehicle drivers who believe taxi’s are illegitimate and don’t belong on our roads. Subsidised by The City of Cape Town, for every private motor vehicle roadworthied at Dekra, they will put a taxi through a roadworthy free of charge.

Once roadworthied at Dekra, Taxi’s will be given a rear windscreen cover which they are encouraged to put on display- resulting in further awareness for the campaign.
