Mahareeb is a non-profit initiative to provide a mapping service for all mosques and prayer rooms, with added-value features. The goal is to provide a one-stop-site for all mosques information.

In addition to the mosques directory, Mahareeb provides a list of services that provides extra value for visitors. Such features include: locating best locations for new mosques based on certain factors as distance to other mosques and area density, reviewing mosques services and providing ratings / comments to help getting people feedback.

 

My task was to refine the project's logo, to imagine the project's platform through initial wireframes and than to implement it as a user interface using standards compliant HTML/CSS and Javascript, through the Twitter Bootstrap framework. This included the whole website front-end, from home page to dashboard, both LTR and RTL versions.

 

Mahareeb is a promising project, and is soon to be launched.
