Introduction.
Creating healthy and sustainable environments is crucial for children's playgrounds that contribute to future generations. Nowadays, it is seen that the quality of playground equipment is gradually decreasing due to the increasing population and lost green areas. Playground equipment is important to bring children together, socialize, and contribute to their physical and psychological development. Therefore, it is important to make existing and future urban living spaces more improved and redefine them on sustainability.
Morphology Chart.
This design tool is quite important to develop more opportunities for playground equipment design and brainstorming. By breaking down the design elements into different attributes such as materials, play experience, and breathing topics, the chart enables designers to systematically explore countless combinations, ultimately leading to innovative and well-rounded playground equipment designs.
Main Functions.
The "Airound", as all other trees do, provides a cleaner, fresher air into the playground and focuses on the convection of our breathing air. It runs purely on the energy derived from rotating by children. Also, the energy accumulated from the activity would be stored in internal batteries which then activate the fan and light up the park in the night.
Air Convection.
This design accelerates the process of air convection, adopting a fan to push the hot air upward speedily causing the cool air to descend. Consequently, rapid changes in temperature and density can create a comfortable airflow in the play area. Even if there is no wind in the play area, the design can create and maintain a "breezy".
Electricity Creating.
The electricity-creating process of this equipment works like the "Wind Turbines". When kids spin the equipment, it will directly drive the big gear below to rotate.
The big gear connects to the generator through a shaft and a series of gears to speed up the rotation of the permanent magnet. When a magnet is rotated quickly through a coil of wire, the electrons will move and cause an electric current to begin to flow and create electricity.
Spiritual and Physical Development.
Children would work as a team to spin the equipment through the fixed centre round handle. Combine rotating turntable and rope climbing can help children develop strength, coordination, and balance. These types of movements can also enhance the physical fitness of growing children.
