Just wanna share a raw picture of my first plate in our digital photography class.⠀

In this activity, we were tasked to pick a subject and photograph it using the different techniques we've discussed. And as for my work, I want to emphasize my subject with the use of frames, so I put a mirror on the ground and placed my subject in front of it to create a reflection through the camera. The background of the subject is not so clean but I guess the photo did turned out okay.

In this activity, we were also tasked to pick a certain subject. For this photo, the subject I want to focus is her eyes. I have used the technique of simplifying the subject by blurring the foreground which my main goal is to lead the audience's attention to the eye.

Midterm Exam
Sharing with you the photo I took for our midterm examination in Digital Photography class. In this picture, I've used a glass bottle to refract my subject which is the rose. The light is passing through the bottle filled with water and is bent as it goes through it, which produces a refraction effect.
Uses of Shutter Speed
In this activity, we were task to take three photos using the different ways to use your shutter speed. First, take a photo of a jumping person and freeze him/her at the peak of the jump. Second, take a photo of a dancing person, blur the subject and leave the background sharp. Lastly, take a photo of a moving person, record its movement by panning the camera to blur the background. Leave the subject sharp.
