When our Nation is going through a period of uncertainty and crisis, It felt important for me to raise my voice through my art. Ever since the news around CAA, NRC & NPR protests is out, the anxiety among people is increasing.  At this time community care is self care. It is our vote, our resistance, and our compassion that creates the culture we live in.  Recognizing that we are all interconnected, standing up for voices that are being stifled is our role and the role of the art.
Therefore, I created several posters which showcases resistance and the voice of people standing together against all the atrocities by the current government. The series of three posters are inspired from  'Bhimayana' a graphic novel which showcases the life and incidents of Bhimroa Ramji Ambedkar. The book tells of the struggles and resistance of the Dalits who were oppressed by the upper class Hindus. These struggles are still not over but are now instead on the streets where men and women are waking up to discrimination, violence and corruption. This series is done for a different time, but the struggles are still the same, the voices are still the same, except this time it will not stop until we are truly heard.
