Chefchaouen Dreamscape: a Moroccan Mural in Cairo
In 2016, I embarked on a creative journey to transform a Cairo-based co-working space into a vibrant oasis inspired by the enchanting Moroccan city of Chefchaouen. This mural project was born from a desire to infuse the space with the rich tapestry of Moroccan culture, and it became a testament to the power of art to transcend boundaries.
Amid the urban hustle, we faced a design challenge: unsightly water pipes disrupted the space's harmony. The solution? We turned these functional elements into canvases, crafting a mural that not only concealed them but also celebrated the essence of Morocco.
