Ootengu Sculpture Z-brush

After completing 2 whole Z-brush courses on LinkedIn Learning. I finally sculpted this original character piece in a week.

These are just my thoughts; but in my opinion, the only way I was able to sculpt this in a week and not more, with my novice level of experience in Z-brush was due to the fact that I spent years in the 2D arena figuring out my artistic style and occupying my visual library.

I find it apparent tutorial after tutorial that if your 2D fundamentals are strong, It’ll translate "pretty" smoothly into 3D spaces provided you understand the software's capabilities.

My anatomy knowledge is by no means the best, and I still have a lot of studying and learning to do. But by having prior artistic sensing or visual library I wasted less time on things like anatomy and creating moods.

I can't wait to start on my next sculpt and learn more! Thanks LinkedIn Learning.
