This project was developed specifically for the closure of the Russian Theater
Marathon of the Theatre Year and as part of the International Cultural Forum in St.Petersburg . It was an artistic look on the theme “Theater of the Future”.

Puppet theatre with robots

Process
The puppet dance (by dancer Galina Gracheva) was controlled by industrial robots Fanuc with the help of cables and a special engineering structure that controls the tension of each cable separately. The choreography of the puppet and the movements of the robots were created to music specially written by the author of the project, composer Maria Chernova, reminiscent of a music box. The music was performed live by the chamber orchestra Artnovi (director Sergey Tkachenko).
Ballet in stereo (with 3D glAsses)
Modern ballet performed by the soloists of the Vienna Opera and Ballet Theater (Nikisha Fogo, Masayu Kimoto, choreographer Andrei Kaydanovsky) was presented to the audience using stereo 3D visualization, enhancing the effect of the presence of graphics in space. Guests of the ceremony were given special 3D glasses in front of the hall.
The basis of the ballet performance is the story of Adam and Eve, and the author of the project had the idea to create content stylistically reminiscent of the work of R. Magritte. There was a spirit of surrealism in the text, music, and dance of the performance, and it was enhanced by getting out to the public stereo 3D content and directly by the audience sitting in the academic theater with 3D glasses. During the performance, crying apples with dripping tears, a wooden swing and other objects, which seemed to be touched, hung over the artists on the stage. Visualization was developed directly for choreography, which revealed the stages of the relationship of the first people on earth right up to original sin.
Pantomime in 3D mapping
Performance with 3D mapping on special scenery revealed the view of the Pantomimo theater. To implement this performance, the mimes of the "MimoKrokodil" Theater Project were specially filmed for chromakey and integrated into 3D content. The heroine is invited to all roles in the world, after which the hero tries to find, gets into the scenes of famous films - from the Titanic to the film S. Kubrick. In the end, they are on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater.
