Phuentsholing, also spelled as Phuntsholing , is a border town in southern Bhutan. It is the administrative seat of Chukha District. The town occupies parts of both Phuentsholing Gewog and Sampheling Gewog. Jaigaon town is located at the Indian side of the border, and cross-border trade has resulted in a thriving local economy. The India-Bhutan border at Phuentsholing clearly separates two uniquely different peoples and cultures. This picturesque town is wonderful for travel and photography.
