Hats and Fun Photos

I was watching an old movie with Ann Sheridan. In the final scene she was wearing an elaborate hat. I took a photo of the scene with the hat and sent it to my 'hat lady' friend. This friend makes Victorian-style hats and I was sure she could make the hat. After getting the hat I had to find the perfect model. That perfect model was AJ pictured here.
This is AJ again with a little piece from the 'big green hat' above.
I've been wanting to do this shot for a long time. I was a little worried that it would be difficult to get the look I wanted but Logan was able to pull it off. I did a bit of post work on this image but I'm happy with the result.
Having some fun with make-up and a red beret.
I've wanted to do a 1940s style photo for some time. After researching it, I was anxious to try it. Sarah was a great model and made it fun.
I asked my hat lady friend to make a fancy hat I saw in a movie. After she made the hat, she whipped this 'hat' together out of the left-over scraps. She asked me if I wanted it. "Of course!" I said. Kaitlyn here was the perfect model for it.
This is Mikayla modeling hats her grandmother and a friend made for sale at Civil War Days at the David Davis Mansion www.daviddavismansion.org.
More of Mikayla.
Mikayla and another hat.
I wanted to do an image using light painting and make it look like it went with a mystery story. Melanie had a great mysterious look to her and a friend helped edit my copy.
More light painting, this time with Holly.
Another attempt at light painting with Stacia. Stars were added later.
