The Soul Local
The Soul Local was devised as an event by Calcutta Cacophony to promote and showcase the city’s most exceptional talents from the independent scene. Moreover, through the course of three years, The Soul Local had scaled new heights. The dream of bringing the youth of the city, at one place, on a robust autumn evening, every year, was realised through The Soul Local.
To mark the Third and Last Chapter of the event in 2018 - we wanted a Souvenir that would reflect the fun and exuberance of Youth, the Heritage and feel of Kolkata, and would portray the mood that we tried to set over the course of the three Years - 2016 to 2018.

The Result
The components reflected essential elements of the city - and were Doodled by hand, scanned and used as objects in photoshop.
The Palette had to reflect the Vibrance and element of Fun, and therefore, we went with Saturated Shades. The Doodle Components reflected some of the quintessential elements of Kolkata - The Howrah Bridge, Tagore, Chai, Durga Puja, Victoria Memorial and of course, the phuchka.
