The idea behind the redesign of Art Calendar was to freshen up the magazine's concept, elements and style and deliver it to a whole new generation of artists. The previous design seemed dated and resembled the plainness of a news paper. With splashes of color, and a fresh coat of brand new graphics from current artists the magazine develops into an entity capable of weathering a new era of art and design and reaches out to a brand new audience without alienating it's current one.
