Project Overview:

Join us on a captivating journey as we bring to life a teaser trailer for a gothic card game series, rich in drama and mystery. Our storyboard is nearing completion, featuring meticulously planned shots that perfectly capture the intended mood and atmosphere. We are in search of a freelance line artist with a flair for the dramatic and gothic, to transform these visions into impactful line art.

The Role:

This opportunity calls for an artist who can produce evocative black and white line drawings, capturing the essence of our gothic series' characters or key elements within approximately 32 storyboard frames. Your art will ensure a seamless visual link between the card game and its teaser trailer. Focus will be on character and key element illustrations, with our team taking care of background elements.

Key Responsibilities:

Delve into our storyboard, embracing its gothic themes and dramatic undertones, to produce corresponding line drawings.

Create expressive line drawings of characters or significant elements as per the storyboard’s guidance.

Work in tandem with our animation team, providing foundational art that will direct the animation process.

Requirements:

Proven experience in line art, particularly with gothic or dramatic themes.

A portfolio demonstrating your ability to capture emotion and narrative through line drawings.

Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback and revisions.

Compensation:

Each line drawing will be compensated at $175-$200, based on

complexity.

The initial test phase will also be paid, ensuring that candidates are compensated for their time and effort as we evaluate compatibility with the project’s artistic demands.
