Parvaah ecoRun was a marathon held on the 7th of April, 2019 at the Somaiya Vidyavihar Campus. Parvaah is the social initiative of the college, and the marathon was the means to spread awareness about their campus of creating a zero waste community in the area around the college.
The primary aim for this project was to create a new identity for the ecoRun, while also tying it back to the roots of Parvaah, the movement it was initiated under.
Optical flow, as seen above in the wavy pattern on the moodboard, was the inspiration to a major part of the design. To describe motion and activity in the bounds of a 2 dimensional static medium was proving to be difficult in a convincing way, and we came up with the idea of using waves to describe depth and motion.
