We were all in our homes during Pride Month, 2020
The traditional month-long celebration of love was locked down. The fun, festive, and colourful celebration of diversity had come to a standstill.
With sentiments so low, our objective became: Making an impact on people's lives and help the community stand proud once again!
We accomplished this objective with three activities:
#1 Musical Slogans
We created slogans from pop songs everyone knows and loves - to spread the word about equality. We even prompted our users to use these slogans as their Video Call backgrounds to show their support for the community!
#2 Breaking Barriers
We Invited members of the community to our social media pages and On-Air to break barriers around the common stereotypes and help the world understand their views.
#3 Digital Pride Parade
We created India's first Pride Parade from home! Activated through native social media, we involved our users and helped them celebrate themselves with pride to the entire world!
And the audience loved it!
With an engagement rate of 34%, our audience couldn't get enough! And Pride Month 2020 became a lot brighter and happier!
We even got featured on Social Samosa!
