A member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Henrik P. When he isn't working, Henrik Maxian enjoys playing golf and watching professional sports. He counts the Philadelphia Flyers as his favorite National Hockey League (NHL) team.

The Flyers bolstered its organizational depth at defense on May 30 by signing Linus Hogberg to a two-year, entry-level contract with an annual salary cap hit of $925,000. The deal begins in the 2020-21 season. Hogberg, who was selected by the Flyers in the fifth round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, spent the past five seasons playing for Vaxjo HC in the Swedish Hockey League. The 6-foot, 176-pound puck-moving defenseman had a career-best 14 points in 50 games this past season.

Through 181 career regular season games in the league, Hogberg had 9 goals and 25 assists. He also represented Sweden at the 2018 World Junior U-20 Championships. Flyers' assistant general manager Brent Flahr lauded Hogberg's ability to transition the puck out of the defensive zone, but suggested he will need to get stronger to be an effective NHL player. He's expected to begin next season with the Flyers' American Hockey League affiliate in Lehigh Valley.
