LED Memory Game Floor Installation
For Melaka's BiqueFest, a curated weekend pop-up arts bazaar, we were invited to create an interactive floor installation.
To play, the user has to watch the lights on the wall and follow it by stepping on the coloured interactive floor to win the game. The Dance Dance Revolution arcade game from our childhood was our main reference for this installation.
We had to figure out an interaction method that was engaging enough for all age groups, but not make it too technical or difficult nor too easy for any particular group.
Finally, we settled upon a system where the user still needs to step on the coloured step pads in accordance to the color sequence on the LED formations on the wall.
