Succour App for Carers
At some stage in our lives, most of us will be or will need, a carer. Being a carer can be very demanding and restricts the lives of carers and their loved ones. Carers are often left with too much responsibility for the person they care for, without enough support. They often feel alone, missing out on social opportunities, they deal with strong emotions like guilt, anger and distress that can cause frustrations and conflict within the family.
Succour is an app designed for carers to share their knowledge and support with other carers. They are able to find carers with similar experience, a new carer looking for information and support simply to have a conversation. The app also provides support option where the carer is able to research support around their local area, it will provide them with information which will inform them if the place is disability friendly and does it have support for disability.
