Деревня Арбузово в районе легендарного Невского Пятачка в 1941 году была полностью разрушена, сожжена нацистами. Все 58 ярдов ... Необычный мемориал был воздвигнут в память о погибших жителях.
Белый скелет нескольких домов, видимый с шоссе и из любой точки Невского Пятачка, мемориальный комплекс на месте бывшего села Арбузово был возведен в 1985 году в память о разрушенных деревнях, перечисленных на гранитных плитах. Авторы памятника: Хидекель М.Л., Романов О.С. Текст на памятнике: «Земля Кировской области в годы Великой Отечественной войны была местом ожесточенных боев с фашистскими захватчиками. В 1941-1944 годах разрушено: село Арбузово, село Анненское, село Вороново, село Гонтовая Липка ... »- всего 38 сёл.
